Job summary

Sunyo Technology (M) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Quality Management professional to implement, monitor, and continuously improve the QMS aligned with AS9100 and ISO 9001 across aerospace manufacturing operations in Penang.

You will lead internal audits, coordinate external and customer audits, and drive CAPA processes, NCR handling, and root-cause analyses to ensure regulatory and customer requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quality Management, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in Quality Management Systems within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in aerospace manufacturing, precision machining, CNC machining, or aerospace components manufacturing is preferred.
• Knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001 requirements is essential.
• Experience in preparing and maintaining quality documentation and supporting certification or customer audits.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, and continuously improve the QMS per AS9100 and ISO 9001.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace customer and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain quality manuals, procedures, forms, and quality records.
• Control document revisions and ensure latest approved documents are available.
• Monitor QMS performance and coordinate corrective actions for non-conformities.
• Plan and conduct internal quality audits and coordinate external audits and certifications.
• Identify audit findings, follow up on corrective actions, and verify their effectiveness.
• Ensure audit records and compliance documentation are properly maintained.
• Assist in FAI documentation and supplier quality activities.
