Qualifikationen

• Requires 3–5 years in aerospace or manufacturing inspections.
• Able to read engine manuals, drawings, illustrated parts manuals, operation sheets and other spec docs.
• Proficient in running CMM programs and minor adjustments.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections at receiving, in-process and final stages.
• Accurately document inspection results.
• Use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, indicators, gauges) for inspection tasks.
• Interpret drawings and instructions from blueprints and operation sheets.
• Define work scope by reviewing preliminary results and data.
• Set up datum for CMM and surface plate; select probes and plan measurements; calibrate tips before inspection.
