Job summary

Collins Aerospace, a leader in aerospace solutions, seeks an Operations Manager to oversee daily production cell activities, drive performance, and ensure safety and quality compliance. You will lead technicians, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and advance continuous improvement initiatives within the production area.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and 5–7 years in aerospace operations, with experience in lean, Six Sigma, and ERP/MRP systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in operations management, aerospace MRO, manufacturing, or similar.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, CORE and continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with aviation regulatory standards such as FAA, EASA, CAAM.
• Experience leading technical or production teams.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations within assigned production cells to achieve output targets and TAT.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, repair processes, and production controls.
• Plan and allocate technician manpower based on priorities and demand.
• Drive shopfloor discipline, accountability, and execution.
• Lead continuous improvement using CORE, Lean, Kaizen methods.
