Job summary

MR.DIY Malaysia is seeking a data & reporting assistant to support warehouse operations through structured reporting, data consolidation, and cross-functional coordination. The role focuses on improving visibility of key operational metrics and developing consolidated dashboards.

You will consolidate data from multiple teams (warehouse, transport, automation), manage report templates, and drive process improvements with Excel/BI tools while coordinating with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Excel with pivot tables, VLOOKUP and basic formulas.
• Comfortable working with numbers, data sets and performance metrics.
• Able to follow up firmly and professionally with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Good written and spoken English & Mandarin communication.
• 3-5 years of working experience in any field.

This role will support warehouse operations through structured reporting, data consolidation, and cross-functional coordination. This role focuses on improving visibility of key operational metrics, and supporting process improvements, including the development of consolidated dashboards.

1. Reporting & Data Support

• Consolidate data from multiple teams (warehouse, transport, automation)
• Manage report templates and enforce consistency across submissions
• Support development and upkeep of dashboards (Excel / BI tools)
• Identify and flag discrepancies, missing data, or abnormal trends

2. Meeting & Coordination

• Prepare meeting materials, agendas, and pre-reads
• Take accurate Minutes of Meeting (MOM) and distribute on time
• Track all action items and follow up proactively with respective PICs
• Coordinate across warehouse, transport, and cross-functional departments

3. Process Improvement Support

• Support initiatives to streamline reporting and reduce manual effort
• Assist in system and data improvement projects (e.g. dashboard consolidation)
• Proactively suggest improvements to existing workflows

Requirements

Must‑Have Skills & Experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas)

• Familiarity with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)
