Job summary

Hi 5 Sen Development & Training Sdn Bhd in Balakong, Selangor, seeks a dedicated professional to develop and lead sports and physical education programs for children with special needs. You will tailor activities to individual needs and work with families and the education team to monitor progress.

The role requires a degree in Special Education or Physical Education and a genuine passion for supporting development, with strong communication skills and empathy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience working with children with special needs.
• Strong understanding of adapted physical education principles and special needs education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to create and adapt lesson plans for diverse learning needs.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the development of children with special needs.
• Certification or degree in Special Education, Physical Education, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in behavior management techniques within a classroom or activity setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging sports and physical education programs tailored to children with special needs.
• Adapt activities and exercises to meet the diverse developmental and physical requirements of students.
• Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to parents and the educational team.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students during physical activities.
• Collaborate with therapists and other specialists to ensure a holistic approach to child development.
• Maintain equipment and ensure the safety of the sports facilities.
• Promote physical fitness, motor skill development, and social interaction through sports.
