Holiday Villa Resort & Beachclub Langkawi is seeking an experienced Credit Control & Collection professional to manage invoicing and accounts receivable for corporate clients, travel agents, tour operators and other credit customers.

You will monitor credit terms, post revenues, reconcile statements, coordinate with Sales, Front Office and Reservations, and ensure compliance with hotel policies. The role supports month-end closing and audits. This is an on-site position at Langkawi, Malaysia.

• Prepare, verify and issue invoices for corporate clients, travel agents, tour operators and other credit customers.
• Ensure accurate posting of room revenue, banquet charges, food and beverage charges, and other hotel services to the appropriate accounts.
• Review daily city ledger transactions and ensure all supporting documents are complete.
• Maintain accurate accounts receivable records and customer account details.
• Monitor credit limits and payment terms for corporate accounts and travel agents.
• Monitor outstanding balances and follow up with customers on overdue payments.
• Prepare and update the Accounts Receivable Ageing Report regularly.
• Reconcile customer statements and resolve billing discrepancies or disputed invoices.
• Coordinate with the Sales, Front Office, Reservations and other relevant departments on billing and collection matters.
• Escalate long outstanding or doubtful debts to the superior for further action.
• Perform monthly reconciliation of customer accounts and prepare statements of account.
• Assist in preparing monthly accounts receivable reports and collection summaries.
• Ensure receipts and payments are accurately recorded and allocated to the correct customer accounts.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between the hotel's records and customer statements.
• Assist with month-end closing and audit requirements.
• Maintain proper filing of invoices, receipts, credit notes and other supporting documents.
• Ensure all transactions comply with hotel policies, financial controls and standard operating procedures.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing relevant documents and records.
