Job summary

Intel in Penang, Malaysia is seeking an AR Specialist to manage cash receipt posting, payment matching in SAP, and monthly/daily cash reporting. You will work with Collection Analysts and Risk Managers to resolve AR issues and ensure audit readiness.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Business/Finance/Accounting, strong English and Mandarin, and proficiency in Excel and SAP, with familiarity in automation tools a plus. On-site work model in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Fluency in both English and Mandarin is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel) and SAP; experience with AI/automation tools (Generative AI, Power Apps, UiPath, KNIME, Python) is a strong advantage.
• Solid understanding of Accounts Receivable operations and controls, including cash application, reconciliations, payment matching, refunds, and month-end close.
• Strong control and compliance mindset with adherence to policies and segregation-of-duties.
• High attention to detail with accuracy in processing transactions and data review.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain quality in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for continuous improvement and driving process, system, or automation enhancements.
• Adaptable, resilient, and eager to learn in a dynamic business environment.

Responsibilities

• Publish daily cash receipt reports accurately to the team and resolve unidentified payments.
• Receive and validate instructions to perform debit/credit matching in SAP with proper documentation.
• Collaborate with Collection Analysts and Risk Managers to resolve AR discrepancies.
• Perform refunds and write-offs as required.
• Provide Monthly cash reports and Daily cash balancing reports.
• Update cash application processes as part of Business Process Management.
• Identify AR control gaps and propose system enhancements to improve tools and processes.
• Respond to internal/external audit inquiries and handle ad-hoc tasks.
