Powertechnic Handling Equipment (M) Sdn Bhd in Kulai, Johor is seeking an Accounts Manager / Accounts Assistant Manager to lead daily accounting operations and ensure accurate reporting. The role involves supervising the accounting team and coordinating with Group Finance on listed company reporting requirements.

The position requires a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance with at least 3 years in manufacturing, preferably 5, including full-set accounting, costing and tax knowledge.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in manufacturing; 5 years with supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience handling full sets of accounts, manufacturing costing, inventory accounting and financial reporting.
• Working knowledge of Malaysian SST, corporate tax and transfer pricing.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, inventory accounting and bank reconciliations.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements and schedules.
• Review entries, reconciliations, payment transactions and outstanding balances for accuracy.
• Monitor cash flow, collections, supplier payments and working capital requirements.
• Coordinate intercompany balances, transfer pricing documentation and tax compliance with group finance and auditors.
