Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or professional accounting qualification.
• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Experience in managing a team preferable.
• Audit background advantageous but not compulsory.
• Advanced computer skills in MS Office; SAP knowledge and Power BI are pluses.

Responsibilities

• Forecasting and budgeting; manage internal controls on SOX compliance.
• Handle monthly closing, reports, journal postings, credit control, inventory, tax, audit matters.
• Job rotation within department based on capabilities and exposure.
• Improve accounting systems and procedures; initiate corrective actions.
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
• Provide guidance and coaching to junior staff.
• Undertake ad-hoc duties assigned by management.
