Job summary

CFO Resource Sdn Bhd in Malaysia invites an accountancy professional to join our team, handling Singapore-based clients and day-to-day accounting, including full sets of accounts, GL, AR, AP and bank reconciliations.

You will prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, liaise with clients, assist with payroll processing and GST, and ensure timely, accurate records. Knowledge of Xero is an advantage; 1–3 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
• Minimum 1–3 years of working experience in related field.
• Experience in maintaining full sets of accounts and in an accounting firm is preferred.
• Knowledge of Xero is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio of Singapore-based clients and handle day-to-day accounting matters.
• Maintain full sets of accounts, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable and bank transactions.
• Perform bank, customer, vendor and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Bank Reconciliation and supporting schedules.
• Review accounting records and supporting documents to ensure accuracy, completeness and proper recording of transactions.
• Liaise with clients to follow up on outstanding documents, resolve accounting queries and clarify financial transactions.
• Assist with Singapore payroll processing, CPF submission and GST-related matters, where applicable.
• Prepare supporting schedules and information required for tax, audit, compilation and statutory reporting.
• Ensure assigned accounts and reports are completed accurately and within the required deadlines.
• Work closely with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth completion of client assignments.
• Perform other accounting and ad hoc duties as assigned by management.
