Job summary

Glory is seeking a Finance professional to oversee operations across Southeast Asia. The role covers accounts payable, receivable, collections, and reporting to support monthly close.

Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 3+ years of finance experience, strong IFRS knowledge, and proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems. Malaysia-based position in Kuala Lumpur with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in a finance environment or similar role.
• Familiarity with IFRS and Malaysian tax rules is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable processes including supplier setup, invoices and payments.
• Handle accounts receivable and collections follow-up.
• Assist with month-end accruals, monthly/quarterly reporting and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and statutory regulations; support audits.

ROLE PURPOSE

Responsible for the finance operations across Southeast Asian countries.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable process – supplier set up, invoice and payments.
• Accounts Receivable process – receipts.
• Collections follow up.
• Assist with the accrual of expenses during month end.
• Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting.
• Monthly bank reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with internal control systems and statutory financial regulations.
• Assist with audit by furnishing the supporting documents required by auditors.
• Prepare information for and liaise with the auditors to ensure any issues are fully resolved in a timely manner
• Support with Finance related projects and tasks when required

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• Strong computer literacy and competent in MS Office, especially MS Excel and ERP system.

Experience

• Possess at least 3 years working experience in a Finance environment and/or relevant experience in a similar capacity.
