Job summary

Glory Global is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Operations professional to manage AP, AR, GL, and month-end close for Malaysia and the Philippines. You will coordinate billing, tax reporting, and statutory accounts, while supporting audits and internal controls.

The role requires a diploma in accounting or ACCA, strong MS Excel skills, and at least 3 years in a finance environment within an MNC. You will work in a fast-paced, global team, ensuring timely financial reporting and compliance with

Responsibilities

• Handle Accounts Receivable setup and AR follow-up.
• Coordinate billing with other departments to raise invoices.
• Assist in General Ledger and month-end close activities.
• Prepare monthly & quarterly reports and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with SST/Tax and VAT/EWT reporting per local regs.
• Support audits and preparation of statutory accounts for Malaysia and Philippines.

ROLE PURPOSE

Responsible for the finance operations such as AP, AR, GL, reporting and other activities related to the finance operation in finance department.

Key Responsibilities

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accounts Receivable process – customer set up and back up for receipts and AR follow up
• Billing function – coordinate with other departments to raise invoice to customer
• Administer test cash
• To support General Ledger and Month end close activities for Malaysia and Philippines
• Monthly and quarterly reporting
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare tax reports (SST/Corporate Tax) and submissions in accordance with Malaysian Tax regulations
• Prepare tax reports (VAT/EWT/Corporate Tax) and submissions in accordance with Philippines Tax regulations
• Ensure compliance with internal control systems and statutory financial regulations
• Assist with audit and preparation of the local statutory accounts for Malaysia and Philippines
• Prepare information for and liaise with the auditors to ensure any issues are fully resolved in a timely manner
• Support Senior Accountant/Finance Manager with projects and tasks when required.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications

• Diploma in accounting or a professional qualification eg ACCA.
• Strong computer literacy and competent in MS Office, especially MS Excel and ERP system.

Experience

• Possess at least 3 years working experience in a Finance environment and/or relevant experience in a similar capacity.
