Job summary

Glory Global in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Finance Operations professional to oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable and month-end processes across Southeast Asia.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting, IFRS and Malaysian tax knowledge, and at least 3 years in finance. You will ensure accurate reporting, strong internal controls and collaborate with auditors in a dynamic, multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• Strong computer literacy and MS Excel and ERP experience.
• Familiar with IFRS and tax rules in Malaysia.
• 3+ years working experience in a Finance environment.
• Independent, detail-oriented and capable of meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable process – supplier setup, invoices and payments.
• Accounts Receivable process – receipts and collections follow up.
• Assist with month-end accruals and monthly/quarterly reporting.
• Monthly bank reconciliations and control compliance.
• Assist with audits by providing required documents to auditors.

ROLE PURPOSE

Responsible for the finance operations across Southeast Asian countries.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable process – supplier set up, invoice and payments.
• Accounts Receivable process – receipts.
• Collections follow up.
• Assist with the accrual of expenses during month end.
• Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting.
• Monthly bank reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with internal control systems and statutory financial regulations.
• Assist with audit by furnishing the supporting documents required by auditors.
• Prepare information for and liaise with the auditors to ensure any issues are fully resolved in a timely manner
• Support with Finance related projects and tasks when required

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• Strong computer literacy and competent in MS Office, especially MS Excel and ERP system.

Experience

• Possess at least 3 years working experience in a Finance environment and/or relevant experience in a similar capacity.

• Familiar with IFRS and tax rules in Malaysia.
