Job summary

STP Health Foods Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an Accounts cum Credit Executive to manage full-set accounts, credit control and daily financial operations for our FMCG distribution, warehousing and logistics business.

The candidate should be hands-on, meticulous, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Immediate start is preferred and proficiency in SQL Accounting and Mandarin will be an asset.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Candidates with LCCI or ACCA qualifications are welcome to apply.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in full-set accounting and credit control.
• Experience in FMCG, distribution, warehousing or logistics is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle full-set accounts: general ledger, AP/AR, journal entries and bank reconciliations.
• Verify invoices and supporting documents; coordinate with teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Manage supplier and transporter payments, petty cash and reconciliations.
• Maintain accruals, prepayments, fixed assets and balance sheet schedules.
• Coordinate stock counts and inventory reconciliations with warehouse/operations.
• Coordinate SST reporting, tax submissions and statutory compliance.
• Prepare quarterly and annual management accounts (P&L, balance sheet).
• Monitor debtor ageing; issue statements and follow up on payments.
• Plan cash flow forecasts; monitor bank balances and payments.
