Job summary

Capital Dynamics Asset Management Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead a small accounting team and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting. The role involves supervising junior staff, managing monthly/quarterly/annual close, and supporting budgets and forecasts.

The ideal candidate will have 3–4 years of corporate accounting experience, a solid accounting degree or professional qualifications, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 3-4 years of accounting experience in a corporate environment.
• Solid accounting degree and/or professional qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervising the performance of junior accountants.
• Fulfilling the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting requirements.
• Preparing management reports, including budgets, forecasts, and reconciliations.
• Assisting in tax planning.
• Dealing with auditor and tax agent.
• Developing and/or improving procedures and controls for the business.
• Researching and providing input on moderate to complex accounting issues.
• Assisting in other projects as requested.
• Performing ad-hoc assignments as assigned.
