Job summary

RW Tech Labs (a Genting company) in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an accounting intern to support daily financial activities. You will assist in preparing journals, postings, billings, and monthly reconciliations, and help with payment vouchers and requisitions under SAP.

You will also maintain records and liaise with operations, auditors, and holding entities to ensure compliance. The role suits a bachelor’s student in accounting/finance/banking seeking hands-on experience in a dynamic finance team

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting/finance/banking or equivalent.
• Good attitude and good time management.
• Knowledge of SAP Accounting System is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist to prepare the accounting journals, billings, posting, and monthly reconciliation
• Assist to prepare the payment vouchers, cheques and payment requisitions
• Prepare the journal entries and supporting documents
• Maintain all transactions and records before keying into the SAP Accounting System
• Liaise closely with operations department, external auditors, holding company and other external parties when necessary to obtain necessary information and confirmation for compliance purposes

Education

Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance/banking or equivalent
