Job summary

Aliddin & Associates seeks an Accounting Intern to support our outsourced accounting team with bookkeeping, financial reporting, and client communications. This hands-on role is ideal for students or graduates pursuing a diploma or degree in accounting.

You will assist with bank reconciliations, prepare client reports, support AP/AR, and help with closings while learning across industries. Mentorship and a monthly allowance are provided.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing Diploma or Degree in Accounting.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Professional communication skills, especially in client interactions.
• Willingness to learn and work in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bookkeeping and data entry for client accounts.
• Help reconcile bank statements and client general ledgers.
• Prepare and organize financial reports for client review.
• Support accounts payable and receivable processes for multiple clients.
• Assist in monthly and quarterly closings for various clients.
• Assist in preparing documentation for tax filings and audits.
• Communicate with clients regarding documentation, receipts, and clarifications.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in handling sensitive financial data.
