Job summary

Jora Malaysia is offering an accounting internship in Selangor, providing practical experience across a wide range of accounting activities and hands-on training from seasoned professionals in the market.

You will assist with data entry, filing, record-keeping, and preparing invoices, while supporting the accounting team in compiling data, audits, and forecasts. RM700 per month, with opportunities for promotion.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in business, finance, economics, or accounting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Aptitude for mathematics.
• Basic understanding of financial and accounting principles.
• Ability to multitask.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with research, filing, data entry, recording, and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Learn how to work as part of the Accounting team to compile and analyze data, track information, and support the company.
• Coordinate with the Accounting Officer during audits and annual forecasting.
• Communicate with the Accounts Payable Manager and Accounts Receivable Manager to track pending invoices.
• Undertake data entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate and detailed inventory records.
• Handle sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity.
• Perform administrative duties such as preparing invoices and updating accounting files, as and when required.
