Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a dynamic accounting professional to support the Finance Manager in financial accounting and management reporting, ensuring compliance with standards.

You will handle day-to-day records (AP, AR, GL) and assist in reports, audits, and tax, with opportunities to contribute to policy development and system improvements.

Fresh graduates to 7 years' experience are welcome; the role offers a 5-day week, competitive salary, medical and life insurance, and generous leave.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in accounting, related field, or professional qualification (e.g. ACCA)
• Fresh graduates to 7 years prior work experience are welcome to apply.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and willing to learn.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Teams, AI and Accounting Software (e.g. Autocount).
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing accurate and timely accounting records (AP, AR, GL).
• Assist in preparing periodic financial and management reports.
• Support audit, tax, and other returns in compliance to prevailing laws and regulations.
• Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal departments on financial matters.
• Develop and maintain financial accounting policies, internal controls, and procedures.
• Work on process improvements and accounting system enhancements.
• Other tasks assigned by management.
