Job summary

DAHUA MANAGEMENT CONSULTING (M) SDN. BHD. is seeking an entry-level Accountant in Subang Jaya, Malaysia. The role focuses on daily bookkeeping, invoicing, and preparing financial documents, with opportunities to assist in month-end close and tax matters.

The ideal candidate holds a diploma or degree in accounting or finance, has 1–2 years of relevant experience, and is familiar with Excel and accounting software. You must be detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines; Saturday work is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent qualification.
• At least 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience is preferred.
• Familiar with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Knowledge of Malaysian accounting, SST, and tax requirements is an advantage.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work on Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and other accounting documents.
• Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform bank reconciliation and monitor company cash flow.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and overdue accounts.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assist with SST, tax, audit, and other statutory matters when required.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, suppliers, and customers when required.
• Ensure accounting records are properly maintained and comply with company policies.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties assigned by management.
