Job summary

FOO YET KAI & SONS SDN BHD is seeking a qualified Accountant to manage full-cycle financial transactions, budgeting, forecasting, and regulatory compliance. You will prepare statements, perform analyses, and support investment and property activities to drive strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy is required.
• Membership in professional bodies (ACA/ACCA/CPA/MIA/CIMA) is preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software, MS Word, MS Excel, and SQL is essential.

• Recording all financial transactions accurately and systematically, including sales, purchases, payments, and receipts.
• Preparing and analyzing financial statements, balance sheets, cash flow reports, and budgets.
• Ensuring the organization complies with all relevant government rules, tax laws, and accounting standards

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Helping to form budget forecasts, monitoring expenses, and identifying cost‑saving opportunities.

Financial Analysis:

• Analyzing financial data to help make informed business decisions, assess financial health, and support investment strategies

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, relevant professional qualification or equivalent.
• Member of Accountancy professional bodies (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CPA, MIA, CIMA) or equivalent.
• Required Skill(s): Accounting Software, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, SQL.
• Required Language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin‑speaking clients and colleagues.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of working experience in related field, prior experience in investment and property sector.
• Strong financial analysis, mathematical, analytical skill and problem‑solving skill.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality.
• Excellent communication, organisational, team management and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Good spoken and written in English & Mandarin
