Jora Malaysia is seeking a Junior Accountant to support daily accounting activities in our Kuantan office. You will manage petty cash, reconcile accounts, and prepare essential financial statements under supervision.
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy and at least 1 year of related experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong organizational skills are essential.

Manage petty cash transactions and maintain accurate records of all cash movements.
Reconcile financial accounts and direct debit transactions.
Evaluate financial budgets and monitor expenses to ensure cost efficiency.
Liaise with third parties on accounting-related matters, including the company secretary, auditors, banks and LHDN.
Record all company financial transactions in the accounting software.
Prepare financial reports by collecting and summarizing financial information, including the balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other related reports.
Provide financial information and analysis to management by researching and analyzing accounting data.
Prepare and issue annual income remuneration statements to all employees.
Perform other duties and ad-hoc tasks assigned by management.
Report to the higher management and company's leadership team.
Manage and oversee the Account Department, including making decisions that support the department's operations.
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or an equivalent qualification.
At least one (1) year of working experience in a related field, fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask effectively.
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
