Job summary

Tiong Nam Logistics in Johor Bahru is seeking an Accounting Clerk to manage full set accounts and support month-end close. The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Accounting or Finance, with ACCA/CAT welcomed, and strong Excel/Word skills.

You will work both independently and in a team to ensure timely financial processing. Applicants should have good Bahasa Malaysia and English, a proactive attitude, and the ability to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• ACCA/CAT qualifications welcomed.
• Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English (written and spoken).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Responsible, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Positive attitude and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts and prepare monthly audit schedules.
• Perform bank reconciliation and monitor daily bank transactions.
• Manage and review AR & AP transactions.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and reconcile the general ledger.
• Process payments and liaise with external auditors, bankers, or authorities.
