Job description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Account Manager to join our dynamic team at PROTECH DIGITAL SDN. BHD.

What you'll be doing

Manage full sets of accounts (AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation).

Prepare monthly and annual financial reports, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Handle taxation matters including corporate tax, SST (if applicable), and LHDN submissions.

Work closely with the company secretary on statutory filings and corporate governance.

Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, company secretary, and other external parties.

Lead or support year-end closing and annual audit processes.

Manage issuance and records of purchase orders and monitor timely payments and receivables.

Implement and improve internal processes, SOPs, and internal controls.

Manage and supervise the account executive.

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.

Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with a keen eye for detail and a focus on continuous improvement.

Thorough understanding of accounting principles, regulations and industry best practices.

Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is preferred.
