Job summary

ibis Styles Johor Iskandar Puteri seeks a Finance professional to oversee daily income audit, revenue recognition and all related accounting processes. The role supports Rooms, F&B and other revenues, ensuring accuracy in the General Ledger and timely month-end close.

The incumbent will handle debtors, credit applications, invoicing, collections and AR cashiering, with oversight of cash receipts and disbursements in line with Accor policies.

Qualifications

• Professional Certificate / Diploma in Finance/Accountancy or higher.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; strong reading, communication and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily income audit for rooms, F&B and other revenues; ensure correct recognition in General Ledger.
• Manage hotel debtors: credit applications, invoicing, debt collection, AR cashiering, reconciliations and month-end.
• Oversee cash receipts and disbursements; ensure processes align with Accor Corporate policies.

Job Description

The incumbent will be under the general guidance and supervision of the Finance Manager, within the limits of established Accor Corporate policies and procedures.

The position is responsible for the daily income audit that has been received by the hotel and to ensure that all relevant revenues such as rooms, food and beverage and other revenues, are correctly and completely recognized and recorded in the General Ledger accounting systems.

He/She is also responsible for the hotel debtor's function for processing credit applications, invoicing, debt collection, AR cashiering, reconciliations and month end requirements. To oversee and direct all aspects concerning cash receipts and disbursement.

Qualifications

• Possess at least Professional Certificate, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Finance/Accountancy.
• To be sound flair in English and Bahasa Malaysia, reading, communication and listening,
• At least 3 years if working experience in the related field.
• Specialized in Income Audit, Account Receivable, Account Payable and General Ledger.
