Job summary

ibis Styles Johor Iskandar Puteri, part of Accor, seeks an experienced Finance professional to manage daily income audit and debtors functions. You will ensure proper revenue recognition in the General Ledger, process credit applications, invoicing, collections, and AR cashiering while supporting cash flow and month-end activities.

The role requires 3+ years in finance with specialization in Income Audit, AR, AP and GL, and strong English and Bahasa Malaysia communication skills.

Qualifications

• Possess at least Professional Certificate, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Finance/Accountancy.
• Sound fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (reading, communication, listening).
• At least 3 years of working experience in the related field.
• Specialized in Income Audit, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and General Ledger.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily income audit and ensure revenues are correctly recognized in the General Ledger.
• Manage hotel debtor functions including credit applications, invoicing, debt collection and AR cashiering.
• Oversee cash receipts and disbursements and support month-end close.
• Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy across F&B, rooms and other revenues.
• Coordinate with Finance Manager to ensure policy compliance and controls.

Job Description

The incumbent will be under the general guidance and supervision of the Finance Manager, within the limits of established Accor Corporate policies and procedures.

The position is responsible for the daily income audit that has been received by the hotel and to ensure that all relevant revenues such as rooms, food and beverage and other revenues, are correctly and completely recognized and recorded in the General Ledger accounting systems.

He/She is also responsible for the hotel debtor's function for processing credit applications, invoicing, debt collection, AR cashiering, reconciliations and month end requirements. To oversee and direct all aspects concerning cash receipts and disbursement.

Qualifications

1. Possess at least Professional Certificate, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Finance/Accountancy.

2. To be sound flair in English and Bahasa Malaysia, reading, communication and listening,

3. At least 3 years if working experience in the related field.
