Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an Account Executive to be based at Tebrau III with a 5.5 day work week (alternate Saturdays off). The role focuses on AR data entry, month-end closing, and generating monthly management reports, while ensuring accuracy and compliance across financial processes.

The successful candidate should have a accounting/finance degree or ACCA, with at least 2 years of experience, and be able to work independently with strong Excel and Word skills. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting or finance or ACCA.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in related fields.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Handle AR data entry, month end closing and monthly management report.
• Prepare reconciliation for all balance sheet items and control accounts.
• Monitor bank balance and cash flow to meet payment deadlines.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of accounts with compliance to standards and regulations.
• Ensure completeness of documents in accordance with internal guidelines and audit purposes.
• Undertake other duties as instructed by supervisor.

Job Responsibilities:

• Accountable to handle AR data entry, month end closing and monthly management report.
• Prepare reconciliation for all balance sheet items and control accounts.
• Monitor bank balance, cash flow position to ensure sufficient funds to meet payment deadlines.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of companies’ accounts with compliance to governing standards and regulations.
• Ensure completeness of documents in accordance with internal guidelines and policy for audit purposes.
• To undertake all other duties and responsibilities as instructed by the superior .

Job Requirement:

• Possess minimum Degree in accounting / finance or ACCA.
• 2 years of working experience in related fields.
• Able to work independence with minimum supervision.
• Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Words and Excel.
• Pleasant personality, punctual, hardworking and responsibility.
