Job summary

TechnipFMC plc in Malaysia is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage receivables, journal entries, and tax compliance. You will support audits, prepare tax estimates, and handle monthly reporting tasks while ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.

A strong IT skillset including Excel and ERP tools is essential. The role demands meticulous attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced financial environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Audit experience or background is an added advantage.
• Familiar with reporting standards / requirements.
• Meticulous with an eye for detail.
• High integrity and professionalism.
• Excellent IT skills, especially Excel and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle account receivables and ensure timely invoicing and collections.
• Prepare journal entries, verify and support entries.
• Taxation knowledge: prepare basic reports.
• Corporate tax preparation and annual tax returns.
• Estimate corporate tax during initial/6th/9th month.
• Withholding tax compliance ongoing.
• SST reporting bi-monthly.
• Imported service tax reporting monthly.
• Administer fixed assets management, acquisitions, disposals.
• Prepare indirect tax reports and payments.
• Liaise with auditors during statutory and tax audits.
• Produce supporting documents for audits and taxation.
• Perform other GL accounting duties as assigned.

Job Description

• Responsible for account receivables to ensure on-time issuance of invoice and collection
• Prepare journal entries, verifies and support entries
• Taxation: Basic knowledge on reports
• Corporate tax – tax return – annually
• Corporate tax – initial, 6th month or 9th month tax estimation
• Withholding tax compliance – on going
• SST reporting – bi-monthly
• Imported service tax reporting – monthly
• Administration of the fixed assets management, acquisition, disposal,scrap.
• Prepare and manage indirect tax report, payment.
• Liaise with auditors during statutory audit and tax audit
• Produce supporting documents required for audit / taxation/ other inter/ external requirements
• Other general ledger accounting related functions and ad-hoc duties as deemed fit by the reporting line Manager
• Apply the TechnipFMC Group values charter (Ethics, Social, Environmental, Health and Safety)
