Job summary

Khaw Tai Food Industries Sdn. Bhd. invites applications for an accounting assistant to support daily bookkeeping activities. You will handle supplier and customer invoices, process payments, and perform bank reconciliations, ensuring records are accurate.

The role requires basic accounting and tax knowledge, familiarity with SST regulations, and ability to liaise with external auditors during annual audits. Training and opportunity to grow within a manufacturing finance team are provided.

Job description

• Handle daily bookkeeping, including supplier and customer invoices.
• Process supplier payments and verify supplier SOA.
• Perform account classification and bank reconciliation.
• Maintain accurate accounting records using SQL Accounting Software.
• Assist with annual audit and liaise with external auditors.
• Apply basic accounting and tax knowledge in daily operations.
• Knowledge of SST and exemption procedures will be an added advantage.
• Other accounting-related duties as assigned.
