Job summary

Samling Group of Companies is seeking an Account Executive to manage a full set of accounts, perform monthly closings and deliver accurate financial reporting. The role requires attention to detail, strong Excel skills and experience with accounting systems, with professional qualifications considered an advantage.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accountancy, at least five years of relevant experience, and familiarity with taxation and deferred tax.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or related discipline.
• 5+ years of relevant experience; knowledge in taxation advised.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting systems.
• Experience handling full set of accounts and monthly reporting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a full set of accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Review monthly accounts, GL and balance sheet reconciliation.
• Maintain the Fixed Assets Register.
• Monitor regional accounting and estate clerk activities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies and statutory requirements.

Requirements:

Degree in Accountancy or a related discipline.

Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience. Knowledge in taxation and deferred tax would be an added advantage.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.

Experienced in handling a full set of accounts and monthly financial reporting.

Possession of professional accounting qualifications such as MIA, Partial of ACCA, CIMA, CAT, LCCI higher accounting or equivalent will be added advantage.

Job Responsibilities:

Maintain a full set of accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting

Review monthly Accounts, General Ledger and Balance sheet reconciliation

Maintain the Fixed Assets Register

Able to monitor Regional accounting and estate clerk activities

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements.
