Job summary

Senheng Electric (KL) Sdn Bhd is recruiting an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities in Ampang Jaya, Malaysia. The role covers full-set accounting, AP/AR/GL, invoicing, and supporting monthly closures and management reporting.

The successful candidate will ensure SST compliance, liaise with auditors, assist with cash flow and inter-company reconciliations, and maintain robust documentation to support a growing retail business.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations (AP, AR, GL)
• Prepare payment vouchers and process payments
• Issue invoices and monitor collections
• Responsible for the preparation, validation, and submission of e-invoices and SST returns
• Support cash flow and treasury functions
• Perform bank and inter-company reconciliations
• Assist in monthly closing and preparation of management reports
• Prepare audit schedules and liaise with auditors and tax agents
• Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements
• Maintain proper documentation and filing system
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by superior
