Job summary

Hytech is seeking a qualified finance professional in Kuala Lumpur to manage daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and tax compliance. The role requires 4+ years in accounting/finance with at least 1 year in supervision, and strong ERP and Excel skills, plus fluency in English and Chinese.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years in accounting/finance roles; 1+ year in a supervisory capacity.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel.
• Strong communication in English and Chinese.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Detail-oriented and well organized.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review daily accounting operations including AP/AR, GL, intercompany and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and review monthly management accounts and annual financial statements in line with MPERS/MFRS/IFRS.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including review of tax computations and submissions.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents and stakeholders for timely reporting.
• Enhance internal controls and improve financial processes and policies.
• Support budget preparation, monitor spending and provide analysis.
• Analyze management accounts and financial statements to support decisions.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet financial objectives.
• Perform other related assignments as required.
