Tong Kee Food Corporation in Selangor is seeking an experienced Accountant to handle full or partial sets of accounts (AR, AP, GL) and support monthly closings.
You will prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and assist in statutory compliance, with duties including SST/GST and tax schedules where applicable.
5 days work, 8:30–17:30, lunch provided, free parking, hostel provided, and employee benefits.

Handle full set of accounts or partial accounts (AR, AP, GL) depending on assignment
Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records
Ensure transactions are recorded accurately and on time
2. Accounts Payable (AP)
Process supplier invoices and staff claims
Verify invoices against PO / delivery notes
Prepare payment vouchers and arrange payments
Monitor outstanding payables and follow up on discrepancies
3. Accounts Receivable (AR)
Issue invoices and credit notes
Monitor customer payments and aging
Follow up on overdue accounts
Reconcile customer accounts
Perform bank reconciliations monthly
Reconcile GL balances, intercompany accounts, and control accounts
Investigate and resolve variances
5. Monthly Closing & Reporting
Assist in month-end and year-end closing
Prepare schedules for management reports and audits
Support preparation of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports
6. Tax & Statutory Compliance
Assist in preparation of SST / GST / tax schedules (if applicable)
Support external auditors, tax agents, and company secretary
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
7. Administrative & Support Duties
Maintain proper accounting records and filing system
Assist in budget tracking and cost control
Perform other accounting or finance-related tasks as assigned by management
Minimum 2–4 years of relevant working experience in accounting or finance
Minimum qualification: LCCI Diploma in Accounting or equivalent
Able to handle full set of accounts or key accounting functions (AR, AP, GL)
Familiar with accounting software and MS Excel
Good knowledge of basic accounting principles and statutory requirements
Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to meet deadlines
Able to work independently with minimum supervision and as part of a team
Able to speak Mandarin, Malay, English
5 days working days (Monday - Friday 0830 - 1730)
