Job summary

Racer Technology Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is hiring an Accounts Clerk to support financial operations in Senai. You will handle monthly reports, invoicing, statements, and credit control, liaising with local and overseas customers.

The role requires at least a Diploma in Accounting/Finance and 2 years of accounting experience. Strong English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia are preferred, and you must have own transport to Senai.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accounting/Finance required.
• Minimum 2 years in Accounting/Finance roles.
• Able to communicate well with all levels of staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly sales reports and journals.
• Prepare customer monthly statements of accounts and credit control for local and overseas customers.
• Liaise on financial issues and overdue payments with customers.
• Issue official receipts and update in Excel and cash book after payment is received.
• Ensure supplier documents (PO/DO/invoices) are complete and acknowledged.
• Prepare monthly purchases reports and listings.
• Check supplier statements and liaise on disputed invoices.
• Prepare, update and issue vouchers and cheques after management approval and forward to HQ.
• Enter bank and petty cash receipts and payments.
• Perform bank reconciliations for RM bank accounts.
• Update bank balances, cash flow, and production expense descriptions.
• Update fixed asset listings and ensure accuracy.
• Enter GL entries, accruals, prepayments, fixed asset purchases, and hire purchases.
• Reconcile balances with related companies.
• Enter P&L figures from system into Excel.

Job description

- To prepare monthly sales report & journal.

- To prepare customer monthly statement of accounts and credit control from local and overseas customer.

- To liaise with any financial issues & overdue payment with customer.

- Issue Official Receipt & update into system excel file and cash book once received payment from customer.

- To ensure supplier’s document completed with PO, DO & Invoices and Management acknowledgement.

- To prepare monthly purchases report & listing.

- Checking suppliers statement & liaise with suppliers on the dispute invoices.

- To prepare, update and issue voucher and cheque once Management acknowledged and ensure the cheque & voucher be sent to our HQ for approval.

- To enter/key in bank and petty cash receipts and payments.

- Bank reconciliation of RM bank accounts.

- Update bank balance, cash flow, description of production expenses lists.

- Update and ensure fixed asset listing is accurate.

- To enter GL entries, accruals, prepayment, purchases of fixed asset and hire purchase.

- Tally up the balance figure with related companies.

- Refer to the Profit & Loss from Account system to manual key in the figure into excel file.

Job Requirement

- Posses at least Diploma in Accounting/Finance field.

- Experience at least 2 years in Accounting/Finance.

- Attention to detail person and may work in team.

- Able to communicate well with all level of employees.

- Good spoken and written skills in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

- Applicant must willing to work in Senai.

- Posses own transport.
