Job summary

Chop Chin Huat Sdn Bhd is seeking an accounting assistant to support AP/AR duties and assist in preparing financial statements and reports. The role emphasizes confidentiality of financial data and strict adherence to accounting policies, with daily and monthly reporting responsibilities.

The candidate should have an associate degree in accounting or related field, 1–3 years of experience, and strong Excel skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities to meet

Qualifications

• Associate degree or diploma in accounting, bookkeeping, finance or similar field; equivalent combos accepted.
• 1–3 years of relevant hands-on accounting experience.
• Proficient to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Office.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently on assigned duties.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support duties related to accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

• Support duties related to accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

• Interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work in order to ensure compliance with applicable standards
• Compile and prepare routine reports and summaries
• Daily monitor sales money bank in & email daily sales report & capture in system
• Prepare monthly analysis report

Requirements:

• Minimum, an associate degree in accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance, or similar field. Diploma holder preferred. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience can be substituted.
• 1-3 years of relevant, hands‑on accounting experience
• Proficient to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently on assigned duties
• Demonstrates an ability to manage a variety of priorities while meeting deadlines
