Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan Minde Group Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Estimator to join its global contract manufacturing team in Penang. You will review technical specifications, prepare detailed cost estimates, and collaborate with engineers, PMs, and clients to ensure accuracy and alignment with expectations.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of estimating experience in manufacturing, a Bachelor's in Engineering, and proficiency with CAD software and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in cost optimization and value engineering initiatives.
• Solid knowledge of manufacturing documentation and procedures.
• Skilled in interpreting blueprints and technical drawings; CAD familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Review specifications to calculate labor, material, and time requirements for accurate cost estimation.
• Prepares and presents detailed estimates by compiling labor and material costs.
• Liaises with project managers, engineers, and clients to clarify project details and ensure estimates align with customer expectations.
• Works with the project team to identify opportunities for cost-efficiency initiatives and cost optimization.
• Builds and maintains relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing and timely availability of materials and services.
• Participates actively in project meetings and presentations.
