Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan Minde Group Sdn Bhd is recruiting a Production Controller for a Malaysian electronics manufacturer. You will manage the flow of materials, raise POs, follow up deliveries, and plan production dates based on customer schedules, ensuring the Master Production Schedule is realistic and achievable.

You will coordinate with storekeepers and QA to maintain material availability, handle attrition, and support ad-hoc duties.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in production planning or materials control.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in ERP or materials management systems.

Responsibilities

• Raise Purchase Orders (POs) for materials required by production based on system quantities.
• Follow up on material status to ensure timely factory delivery.
• Plan production dates based on customer schedules and generate MPS.
• Coordinate with storekeepers to maintain smooth material flow to lines.
• Raise additional POs to account for production attrition.
• Liaise with QA regarding MRB status and issues.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by superiors.

Job Responsibilities:

• Raise Purchase Orders (POs) for materials required by the production department based on system-suggested quantities.
• Follow up on the status of materials to ensure timely delivery to the factory.
• Plan actual production dates based on customer schedules and generate the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
• Coordinate with storekeepers to ensure a smooth flow of materials to the production lines.
• Raise additional POs to account for production attrition.
• Liaise with the Quality Assurance (QA) team regarding Material Review Board (MRB) status.
• Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned by superiors.

Requirements:
