Job summary

APAX Group, Sabah is seeking a skilled 3D artist to create and optimize Blender-based models for spatial, architectural, and immersive applications. You will process LiDAR and reality-capture datasets into usable assets and develop 3D Spatial Digital Twins of buildings and sites.

The role covers mesh cleaning, retopology, texturing, UV mapping, lighting and rendering, working with Gaussian Splatting and other visualization workflows, and integrating assets into Unreal Engine, Unity and XR/VR

Responsibilities

  • Create and optimize 3D models in Blender for spatial, architectural and immersive applications.
  • Process LiDAR, photogrammetry, point-cloud and reality-capture datasets into usable 3D assets.
  • Develop and maintain 3D Spatial Digital Twins of buildings, sites, environments and infrastructure.
  • Perform mesh cleaning, retopology, texturing, UV mapping, lighting and rendering.
  • Work with Gaussian Splatting / SuperSplat and other spatial visualization workflows.
  • Integrate 3D assets into Unreal Engine, Unity, XR/VR and interactive platforms.
  • Produce 3D animation, multimedia and visual content for presentations and immersive experiences.
  • Support field spatial capture, dataset processing and quality control.
  • Collaborate with creative and technical teams to convert real-world environments into accurate, optimized digital experiences.
  • Research and adopt new Spatial Intelligence, AI, Digital Twin and immersive technologies.
