Job summary

The role requires a Chargeman B0 (11 kV) certificate, 3–5 years of hands-on experience, and strong knowledge of switchgear, protection relays and safety procedures. Shift work and on-call availability are expected.

Qualifications

• Requires Chargeman B0 (11 kV) certificate and competency registration.
• 3–5 years of hands-on electrical operation and maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of 11 kV systems, switchgear, protection relays, LV distribution, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation and maintenance of electrical systems (11 kV and LV) to ensure safe, uninterrupted operation.
• Act as designated Competent Person per Suruhanjaya Tenaga requirements and applicable acts.
• Coordinate switching, isolation, shutdown, and restoration with proper permits and LOTO procedures.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintain records for electrical assets and logbooks.
• Coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance and small-scale shutdowns with site teams.
