Mars is seeking a Workday Solutions Manager- Core HCM/Payroll/Benefits (f/m/x) to design, implement, and enhance Workday solutions that support our global HR processes and business objectives from our Querétaro hub.

In this role you will partner with HR teams, COEs, Integrations, Payroll and Benefits to translate challenges into scalable technology, drive process optimization, and lead configuration changes and best practices.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, including at least 3 years working with Workday.
• Strong expertise in Workday Core HCM and HR technology solutions.
• Experience with HR systems, integrations, and process design.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent English is required; Workday Certification is a plus.

Job Description:

Workday Solutions Manager- Core HCM/Payroll/Benefits (f/m/x)

In this role, you will play a key part in designing, implementing, and enhancing Workday solutions that support our global HR processes and business objectives. Working closely with HR teams, Centers of Excellence, Operations, Payroll, Benefits, Integrations, and other stakeholders, you will translate business challenges into sustainable technology solutions. You'll combine deep Workday expertise with strong analytical and consulting skills to drive process optimization, system enhancements, and continuous improvement across the organization.

What would be your key responsibilities?

Solutions Design:

• Serve as a subject matter expert on the Workday platform performing administrative functions including business process administration, security, and Integration support

• Strive to automate processes to eliminate waste and drive efficiency in the organization and leverage return on technological capabilities.

• Understand business outcomes, gather business requirements and map to system capabilities and design solutions.

• Lead and/or perform configuration changes in accordance with application procedures.

• Acting SME for Core HCM workstream driving towards decisions and recommending best practices related to functionality that includes, but is not limited to, maintaining business processes, condition rules, and new Workday release features

• Actively contribute and participate In Workday community and build cross-domain capability to design and deliver integrated solutions

Customer Partnership

• Partner with Global Experience Owner, Global Process Owner, COEs, Integrations, Payroll & Benefits teams, and HR Operations to identify continuous improvement opportunities and drive adoption of global standards

• Ensure requirements are defined, reviewed, and agreed upon with the key stakeholder/project team.

• Communicate regularly with key stakeholders to ensure expectations are aligned.

Process Management

• Regularly assess current state and proactively identify areas of opportunity for improvement

• Understand objectives of business processes related to technology and translate into functional requirements.

• Responsible for driving Workday business process design activities for Core HCM

• Serve as an escalation point and lead for process design and system configuration support

• Maintain the system configuration, reporting and calculated field designs

Project Management

• Use agile methodology to continually deliver solutions, manage small to medium size projects, and process improvements

• Identify and elevate key issues, risks, roadblocks in delivering solutions

• Develop documentation for test scenarios, ensure process documentation for configurations and maintain project documentation standards.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, including at least 3 years working with Workday

• Strong expertise in Workday Core HCM and HR technology solutions.

• Experience with HR systems, integrations, and process design.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Knowledge of project management methodologies and requirements gathering.

• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and logical thinking abilities.

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

• Fluent English is required.

• Workday Core HCM Certification, Shared Services experience, and a strong interest in technology are a plus.
