Descripción de la vacante

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing/Welding Process Lead to direct and optimize welding operations in the Santa Catarina plant area. You will drive safety, quality, and efficiency across PQVC performance and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role reports to the plant leadership and involves supervising Manufacturing Engineers and Technicians, implementing Lean and Six Sigma tools, and advancing cost and quality goals in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Formación

Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are required.
Advanced English proficiency is mandatory for global collaboration.

Responsabilidades

Lead and optimize welding processes across an assigned plant area.
Ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production meeting manufacturing requirements.
Develop plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and manpower to hit cost and quality targets.
Monitor delivery performance and lead-time improvements to enhance customer value.
Coach and supervise personnel in the area to ensure proper utilization of resources.
