Güntner de México, S.A. de C.V. is looking for a Welding Engineer to develop, optimize, and implement welding and brazing methods across manufacturing processes in Apodaca. You will ensure top-tier quality, regulatory compliance, and efficiency aligned with global standards.

You will lead training needs, manage welder skills, and oversee documentation for certifications, while collaborating with international teams to drive process standardization and continuous improvement.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Metallurgy, Chemical, Electrical, or related field).
• Conversational / Fluent English required for daily collaboration with global teams.
• Minimum of 4 years of proven experience as Welding & Brazing Specialist/Engineer (GTAW, GMAW, SMAW, Brazing).
• Strong proficiency in AWS, ASME, ISO, and AISI codes.

Responsabilidades

• Identify training needs for welding processes across the plant.
• Design and execute tailored training plans based on indicators and needs.
• Define and manage the welder skills matrix, competency levels, and pay tiers.
• Prepare documentation for welding process certifications and renewals.
• Coordinate welder test coupons and equipment testing for certifications.
