A leading refrigeration manufacturer in Apodaca is seeking a Welding Engineer to develop and refine welding methods while ensuring quality. Responsibilities include training, certification support, and product improvement studies. Candidates should have 3-5 years of welding experience and be proficient in English. Formación

• 3–5 years of experience in Brazing/Welding processes.
• Knowledge of procedures, machinery, and laser cutting.
• English proficiency is mandatory.

Responsabilidades

• Document and justify savings for product improvements.

Conocimientos

Job Description:

Develop, implement, and refine welding methods across various welding processes, ensuring the quality required by the customer.

Responsibilities:

• Training Plan: Identify company needs, develop a training plan based on identified needs, create a database for each welder, and define welder levels or grading by area based on skills.
• Certifications: Support in certifying any required welding process, assist in generating all necessary information for certification, and support in creating tests for equipment and welder test specimens.
• Reduction of Internal and External Quality Costs in Welding Processes: Identify opportunities in welding, assist in solving welding-related issues, and collaborate with the quality team to reduce or eliminate quality costs.
• Product Improvement Studies Considering Safety, Quality, and Productivity: Identify opportunities for savings through changes in components, materials, or processes, document and justify savings, and seek opportunities to improve product quality or productivity with a primary focus on safety.

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of experience in Brazing/Welding processes
• Knowledge of procedures (WPS/BPS/WPQ), machinery, orbital/GMAW/GTAW, and laser (only for cutting)
• Familiarity with ASME standards
• English proficiency is mandatory
