LIXIL is seeking a Mechanical Product Design Engineer to drive new product design and development in our Ceramic and Bathing segment. Responsibilities include leading design from concept to commercialization, creating 3D models, and ensuring manufacturability with cross‑functional teams.

Proficiency in Creo and WindChill is required. The role demands strong problem solving, GD&T, and project coordination skills, with travel as needed to support manufacturing and suppliers.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2 years of experience, or a Master’s Degree.
• Proficient in PTC Creo 3D modeling.
• Experience with plastics design (injection-molded, composites, thermo-formed) a plus.
• GD&T with tolerance stack-up analysis.
• WindChill PDM/PLM experience.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally, domestic and international.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design from concept to commercialization of new products.
• Create 3D models and drawings meeting manufacturability with cross‑functional teams.
• Maintain BOMs and revision-controlled drawings using WindChill.
• Perform DFMEA, DFM reviews, and RCA to ensure reliability.
• Develop design schedules with engineering, PM, and suppliers.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing and suppliers.
• Collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
