Scania México is seeking a maintenance technician in Querétaro to perform routine maintenance and repair across electrical, carpentry, welding, plumbing, sheet metal, painting, and millwrighting. The role supports a smaller facility and collaborates with specialists as needed.

You will maintain building and equipment history, follow standard procedures, and ensure quality and regulatory compliance while coordinating with teams and external contractors when required.

Formación

• Secondary or equivalent education is required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform standard maintenance and repair under a detailed guide.
• Install equipment following detailed guidance and solve basic technical issues.
• Maintain the site and report any problems with facilities.
• Conduct simple quality sampling and inspections of products or processes.
• Follow mandatory procedures to meet quality standards and regulatory/internal codes.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental instructions to protect people and environment.
• Engage with external communications to provide a positive customer experience.
• Plan and organize daily work according to changing priorities.
• Develop and maintain strong technical or procedural skills through formal and informal coaching.

This position is more common in smaller facilities where the incumbent has adequate experience to do most of the work specific to that setting, but is supported by specialists or outside contractors as needed. Has a sound understanding of the maintenance history of the building, equipment, and other facilities to be maintained.

Job Responsibilities

• Mantenimiento y reparación de equipos Realizar actividades de mantenimiento y reparación estándar bajo una guía detallada. Solucionar problemas técnicos u operativos básicos aplicando soluciones previamente definidas.


• Instalación de equipos Realiza actividades de instalación estándar bajo la guía detallada. Solucionar problemas técnicos u operativos básicos aplicando soluciones previamente definidas.


• Mantenimiento del sitio Reporta cualquier problema o inconveniente con las instalaciones del sitio.


• Control de Calidad Realiza muestreos de calidad relativamente simples e inspecciones de productos o procesos (o ambos).


• Cumplimiento Operacional Seguir una serie de procedimientos obligatorios para asegurar que el trabajo sea realizado según los estándares de calidad requeridos y/o para asegurar la adhesión a los códigos regulatorios externos y a los códigos internos de conducta.
