• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Familiar with Linux operating system
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Perl, TCL, GNU Make
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Plus: Knowledge in VLSI design and verification, and EDA tools.

• Coordinate issues and initiatives with HW, SW, IT, and EDA engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
• Conduct self-guided research and participate in periodic training to stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies and incorporating new methods into daily work.
• Propose and execute innovative solutions to complex problems, contributing to the continuous improvement of our CAD automation capabilities.

Role Overview:

As a support engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting other engineering teams to use CAD tools and flows developed by Qualcomm’s world-wide frontend CAD. You will be responsible for creating comprehensive documentation, providing support to internal teams, and ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our automation processes.
