Johnson & Johnson in Juarez, Mexico, is seeking a Visual Equipment Technician to manage all communications equipment and support internal and external programs.

You will develop stories for print and digital, edit copy, interview experts, and coordinate a network of contacts to ensure messages are clear and consistent. Fluency in English and Spanish is required, with a background in communications or graphic design.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and write stories for print and electronic publications.
• Participate in internal communication projects focused on planning, development and implementation.
• Measure and supervise the quality and impact of internal communication activities.
• Coordinate a network of contacts to empower collaboration and knowledge exchange.
• Edit written communication pieces.
• Interview experts for story preparation.
• Investigate issues to ensure accuracy of communications.
• Ensure programs promote consistent messages for all audiences.
• Handle equipment used to build communication initiatives.
• Report to management on business issues or opportunities.
• Follow Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines.
• If supervising, ensure subordinates follow guidelines and have needed resources.
• Ensure personal and company compliance with regulations.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Is responsible to handle all the communication’s equipment and to provide a variety of communication types through the manufacturing site related to business’ internal and external programs, such as CREDO, JJPS and others. Works together with the sponsors of the programs to build an appropriate communication strategy and communication deployment

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and write stories for print and electronic publications.
• Participates in internal communication projects with a strong focus on the planning, development and implementation of communication.
• Measures and supervises the quality and impact of internal communication activities.
• Coordinates a network of contacts to empower collaboration, the exchange of knowledge and facilitate the adoption of common practices.
• Edits written communication pieces.
• Interview experts in different subjects and other key people for the preparation of their stories.
• Investigate issues using different sources to ensure the accuracy of communication.
• Ensures that programs promote consistent messages for all audiences.
• Handle equipment used to build different communication initiatives.
• Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
• Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
• For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable
• Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
• Performs other duties assigned as needed

Education:

• Level of education: University / Bachelor of Communications / Graphic Design or equivalent.
• 2 to 4 years of validated experience

Experience and Skills: Required:

• Experience in different types of communication (printed, electronic, audio, video, etc.).
• Ability to compose the message of the leadership team and the sponsor of the program, and translate it into a simple communication to understand for different groups of people: Salary, Salary, different generations, etc.
• Personable; ability to speak in public and influence viewers; presentation skills.
• Soft skills (leadership of people) and experience developing others.
• Ability to handle different types of publishing software.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.

Preferred:

• Experience working with Adobe Creative Cloud and video editing software.
