  • Assistant Cook : $988
  • Cook : $1,163
  • Pastry Assistant : $1,131
  • Assistant Baker : $977
What You’ll Do
  • Prepare and produce menu or pastry items following Virgin Voyages’ recipes and standards.
  • Work across galley sections, ensuring consistency in flavor, presentation, and quality.
  • Cater to special dietary needs and allergy requests (e.g., gluten‑free).
  • Maintain impeccable hygiene and comply with USPH / HACCP standards.
  • Keep your station spotless during and after service.
  • Report equipment or technical issues promptly.
  • Respond to Sailor (guest) inquiries with accuracy and a smile.

What We’re Looking For
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in a similar role (cruise ship or 4‑5 hotel / resort).
  • Solid culinary or pastry fundamentals; strong knife skills for savory roles.
  • Knowledge of food safety, public health regulations, and Vessel Sanitation Program.
  • STCW maritime certifications or willingness to obtain them.
  • English level: Intermediate to Advanced (spoken and written).
  • A proactive, detail‑oriented attitude and the ability to work under pressure.
