Valeo’s VIE Program offers a 12‑month assignment for an Engineer based in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. You will support project coordination, planning, and performance monitoring within the Light Division’s automotive lighting business.

You will develop expertise in end‑to‑end project processes, contribute to dashboards, and assist in reporting with a strong emphasis on English communication and cross‑cultural collaboration.

Formación

• Engineering degree required; Master’s in Project Management or related field preferred.
• Experience coordinating projects, improving processes, monitoring performance, or analyzing business data.

Responsabilidades

• Manage project coordination tasks and support planning, coordination, and monitoring of activities.
• Develop expertise in end‑to‑end quotation and project processes through training and practice.
• Update performance dashboards and ensure key business indicators are accurate.
• Support reporting activities by tracking progress and preparing status updates.

The site of San Luis Potosi based in Mexico belongs to the Light Division. We are looking for a VIE Projects Engineer for 12 months within the team.

Your challenges?

• You manage all motor insurance quotation requests from receipt to completion.
• You prepare and issue vehicle insurance quotations in line with internal procedures and client requirements.
• You develop expertise in the end‑to‑end quotation process through structured training and practical application.
• You support the planning, coordination, and monitoring of project‑related activities.
• You update performance dashboards and ensure the accuracy of key business indicators.
• You contribute to reporting activities by tracking progress, preparing status updates, and supporting operational reviews.

Let’s Talk About You…

• You have an Engineering degree, a Master’s degree in Project Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Engineering, or related fields.
• You already have experience in project coordination, continuous improvement, industrial operations, performance monitoring, or business analysis through internships, apprenticeships, or a first professional experience.
• You have a fluent level of English; Spanish would be a strong advantage.
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and data‑visualization software; knowledge of project planning and monitoring tools is a plus.
• You have good communication skills, an international mindset, and are open‑minded to new cultures and ways of working.
• You are humble, listening, positive, professional, and have a strong sense of diplomacy.
• Knowledge of the automotive industry and vehicle insurance processes is a plus.
