Title and Summary

Vice President, Network Products, Access and Gateway will join a team driving technology strategy around the future of Mastercard's global core payments network and the enablement of our Services strategy. The successful candidate will lead the definition and execution of product go‑to‑market and commercialization strategies for new and existing product offerings with a focus on Mexico, Central America & Caribbean (North LAC) division and will help define our technology and network strategy, leading efforts from an initial problem statement and analysis to implementation. It will call for close collaboration with internal technical teams, regional market‑facing teams and customers, product teams and other business owners within Mastercard to identify needs and drive alignment.

Role
  • Define and maintain Mexico, Central America & Caribbean Network Products (including switching), Access and Gateway go‑to‑market and growth strategy
  • Manage and engage with local stakeholders and Sales to enable and scale our switching capabilities
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the market landscape, customer needs and competitor strategies
  • Co‑lead/support engagements with customers and market participants regarding our core network value proposition
  • Lead new product concepts for the market through the regional PME / Studio process to enable market launches
  • Develop go‑to‑market strategies, identifying target or pilot regions or customers, driving customer engagement and communications, proposing any pricing or economic impact, and working with internal delivery teams to ensure successful rollout – independently or in partnership with business owners as needed
  • Own the Divisional P&L and lead commercialization strategies for North Division Region to enable rollout, scaling and monetization of new product offerings
  • Provide input into and influence the regional/global product development and prioritization based on market needs and priorities
  • Support ongoing product management for existing products
  • Build strong relationships with other business and technical teams and engage internal product teams and business owners, as well as regional market‑facing teams and customers around the world, to identify and understand network needs and challenges
  • Collaborate closely with internal technology teams to develop a clear perspective on Mastercard's technology systems
Qualifications
  • Prior experience in payments, including technical knowledge, is required
  • Strong understanding of payments industry value chain dynamics
  • Willingness to dive deep and learn about our technology, system structure, and rules
  • Strong communication skills
  • Self‑starter and quick learner with ability to work independently
  • Ability to thrive in fast‑paced environments; flexibility to handle rapidly changing scenarios
